- Melchiorgarden, Norddal. At the Melchior’s farm, you can buy seasonal products without intermediaries and promote more sustainable agriculture. Occasional café/pub with a cosy atmosphere.
- Geiranger Brewery
- Brasserie Posten, Geiranger – delicious local food all year round
- Union Hotel in Geiranger is open nearly all year round, even for food service and activities
- Geiranger Gallery. Gallery with vast selection of arts and crafts
- Bruktbua Røde Kors (second hand store) in Eidsdal
- Roggbif sy og strikk, Eidsdal – a small sewing and knitting paradise located in a former shirt factory in Eidsdal
- Lanas salong og klede, Eidsdal – hairdresser and local shop with women’s clothes and Italian leather bags
- During winter, the ski conditions are excellent, for alpine skiing you can go for a day trip to the ski centres at Overøye in Stordal and Strandafjellet
- Ålesund is an excellent spot for a day trip to town

Indoor and outdoor activities. Eidsdal sports team runs most of the skiing activities in the facility at Løvoll, with a ski cafe at Løvoll on Thursdays

The activity park is located among the tall trees by the river Valldøla. Here, you can climb in safe surroundings or participate in other activities for children and adults.
Open during the summer season, accessible on request for groups outside the opening hours.

Guided rafting trips in Valldal and a wide selection of other trips and activities during summer and winter

Attractions in the area
Trollstigen (the Troll’s Path) – Valldal
An unforgettable driving experience! The Troll’s Path is a national tourist road and a tourist attraction with a series of hairpin bends and a magnificent view at the top.
Open during summer, closed during winter – remember to check if the road is open before visiting.
Free, but with charge if you go via a ferry crossing.
Ørnesvingane (the Eagle’s Bend) – Geiranger
A driving experience with a view. Part of the National Tourist route.
Open all year round.

The valley Herdalen and the mountain pasture Herdalssetra – Norddal
An active mountain pasture during summer, with beautiful surroundings. The café is open occasionally during summer.
The road is only open when there is no snow. Open café occasionally in the summer. Great danger of avalanches in Herdalen during winter.
Toll road
The Rønneberg road –Eidsdal
The road to Rønneberg and Kilstimarkene rewards you with a beautiful view of Eidsdal and the fjord.
